Tri State Cab Co LLC is a non emergency medical transportation company located in East Liverpool, Ohio and is owned by Amy Hissom.

The original and former Tri State Cab, located in East Liverpool, OH was founded by Alfred "Jim" Hissom in 1993.

As a young man, fresh out of High School, Jim served in the United States Army. After opening Tri State Cab in 1993, He spent the next 25 years of his life providing transportation to everyone in the tri state area of East Liverpool, OH, at times giving free rides to those who could not always afford to pay. He had a very soft spot in his heart for our American Veterans and would go above and beyond to make sure they got where they needed to go when they called on him for a ride, regardless of whether or not they had the money to pay.

When Jim first opened Tri State Cab, he was the only driver and the only dispatcher. He practically lived in his office answering the phone, then running out to give the caller a ride. A few of his good friends came on board to help him and before long, he had a full crew. During his 25 years of providing transportation to residents in the many areas of Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania he serviced, Jim provided jobs for many people over the years. His last month of servicing the community with transportation was at the end of April 2018 when he decided to retire and close up his business.

When Jim retired in 2018, his daughter, Amy took over where he left off by opening her own "NEW" version of Tri State Cab and in April of 2018, Tri State Cab Co LLC was born, opening its doors on May 1, 2018. Since its opening, Tri State Cab Co LLC, has serviced the community at large through Ohio Medicaid, the local hospitals, medical and rehabilitation facilities, and local government outreach programs. As an Ohio Medicaid Transportation Provider with a new fleet of SUVs, 15 Seat Passenger Vans and a Medical Wheelchair Van, Tri State Cab Co LLC is able to offer transportation services to those in need.
